Trivia tests your general knowledge with questions on varied topics and multiple answer choices. You won't always know the exact answer, but there's an elimination technique that helps you get it right far more often than pure chance would.
What is Trivia?
It's a general-knowledge quiz game with several answer choices, only one of which is correct. The goal is to rack up as many correct answers as possible, responding quickly and accurately.
How to play
- Read the question shown on screen.
- Choose one of the answer options shown.
- If you're right, the option is marked in green; if you're wrong, in red, and you're shown the correct one.
- Keep answering to add to your correct-answer count and beat your best score.
Strategy: eliminate before you guess
When you don't know the answer for certain, don't pick randomly among the four options: first rule out the ones you're sure are wrong. There's usually at least one "obviously wrong" option that's easy to spot at a glance. Every option you eliminate massively boosts your odds of getting it right among the ones that remain.
Also pay attention to the wording: dates, proper names, or very specific figures often hint at the question's subject area (history, science, geography...), which helps you connect it to things you do know even if you can't recall the exact fact.
Quick tips
- Read the whole question before looking at the options; sometimes the question itself contains the answer.
- Be wary of extreme options ("always", "never", "all"): they're often traps.
- If you're torn between two very similar options, the more specific one is usually correct.
With the elimination technique, you'll turn questions you "don't know" into nearly sure things.
🏆 Score ranking
Trivia has its own global ranking: your best quiz score is saved. Go to Ranking, the 🕹️ 1 Player tab, choose "Trivia" from the dropdown, and compare your score with other players, synced to your account. For your result to count you need a free account on MundoSudoku (just a username and password, no email required): you can play without one, but without logging in your score won't be saved to the ranking.
