What is Hotel MS
Hotel MS is the social side of MundoSudoku: an isometric world where you walk around with your own avatar, visit other people's rooms, chat, make friends and build your own place piece by piece. It opens in the same browser tab where you play sudoku — nothing to install, no new account to create.
Everything inside is paid for with MS Coins, the hotel currency, and MS Coins are earned by playing: solving sudokus, completing daily quests, fishing or visiting other people's rooms. The first time you walk in we give you 200 MS so you can start decorating the same day.
The hotel was built with the same idea as the rest of the site: fast, free of paywalls, and never asking for more than it needs.
What you can do inside
Your avatar, head to toe
The same avatar you already have on MundoSudoku, now walking around the hotel. Hair, clothes and colours can be changed from inside and save themselves.
Your room, your way
Your own rooms to decorate piece by piece: place furniture, rotate it, open the room to the public and collect visits and likes from everyone who drops by.
Chat, friends and locked rooms
Talk to whoever is in the room, add people as friends by tapping their avatar, and lock your room with a password if you'd rather play only with your own crowd.
The Plaza and the padel courts
Two public squares for everyone: a basketball court with stands, and two padel courts with real glass walls and a net.
The North Beach
Real fishing: you cast, wait for the bite and pull at the right moment. Over fifty species, your own collection, framed pictures for your room and a fishermen's leaderboard.
La Barquera and its tide
A fishing village with an estuary, a bridge and a lighthouse where the tide really rises and falls: the sandbank dries out, shellfishing opens and a boat takes you out to the open sea.
Pets
A dog, a cat or a duck: they follow you around the room, you feed them and anyone passing by can pet them. They never die, don't worry.
Shop and wardrobe
Dozens of furniture pieces and clothes sorted into sections, with monthly rotation and special Halloween and Christmas items that only show up in their month.
Quests and MS Coins
Daily quests you complete almost without trying: walk around, sit down, chat, look after your pet. Every one of them pays MS Coins.
Leaderboard and big moments
When a legendary fish bites, the whole screen throws a party and builds you an image ready to share. And yes, there's a fishermen's leaderboard.

Is Hotel MS free?
Yes. Getting in and playing is free, and the MS Coins that make the hotel go round are earned by playing. Buying coins is optional and isn't needed for anything inside.
Do I have to download or install anything?
No. Hotel MS opens in your browser, just like the sudokus. It works on phones, tablets and computers with no app to install.
Do I need an account?
Yes, the free MundoSudoku account — the same one you use to play sudoku and save your records. If you don't have it yet, you can create it in a minute from the entrance screen itself.
What are MS Coins?
They're the hotel currency. They buy furniture for your room, clothes for your avatar, pets and their food. You earn them by playing, completing quests and fishing.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. The hotel was built for phones from day one: menus, chat and panels adapt to the screen and everything works by tapping.
What do you do at the beach?
You fish. Cast the rod, wait for the bite and pull at the right moment. Every new fish joins your collection, can be traded for a framed picture for your room, and some only show up in their season.
What is La Barquera?
A fishing village with an estuary, a bridge and a lighthouse where the tide really rises and falls every hour. At low tide the sandbank dries out and shellfishing opens; by boat you can head out to the open sea.
Is the chat safe?
The chat has a word filter, and you can lock your room with a password to stay with the people you choose. You can also play without talking to anyone: there are large public rooms where you can simply wander around.
