🍉 How to play Fruit Slice

By Miguel Arechaga

Fruit Slice is a reflex game that's as simple as it is addictive: fruits fly up from the bottom in an arc and you have to slice them by swiping your finger or mouse before they fall back down. The faster and more precise you are, the more points you score.

The goal

You choose a level (1 through 5) before playing, and your goal is to score as high as possible at that level. Each level has fewer lives (50, 40, 30, 20 and 10) and moves faster with more bombs, so the higher the level, the bigger the challenge. The level doesn't change mid-game: you lose a life for every fruit that escapes and for every bomb you slice, and the game ends when you run out of lives. Your best score for each level is saved.

How to play step by step

  1. Choose a level (1 through 5) to start; each has its own difficulty and lives.
  2. Swipe your finger across the screen (on mobile) or simply move your mouse over it (on a computer), tracing cuts across the fruits.
  3. Every sliced fruit adds to your score and sprays a little splash of juice.
  4. If you slice several fruits in a single stroke, you get a combo with bonus points.
  5. Avoid the bombs 💣: if your slice touches one, you lose a life (and on the later levels you have very few).

Tricks to score more points

Each level moves faster, has more bombs, and gives you fewer lives, so reaching level 5 and beating it is a real test for your reflexes. Your high score is saved so you can try to beat it.

🏆 Score ranking

Fruit Slice has its own global ranking: each difficulty level (1 through 5) has its own scoreboard. Go to Ranking, the 🕹️ 1 Player tab, choose "Fruit Slice" from the dropdown, and compare your score with other players, synced to your account. For your result to count you need a free account on MundoSudoku (just a username and password, no email required): you can play without one, but without logging in your score won't be saved to the ranking.
