🫧 How to play Bubble Shooter

By Miguel Arechaga

Bubble Shooter is one of the most popular arcade games of all time. The idea is simple and addictive: you shoot colored bubbles upward and, when you match three or more of the same color, they pop. Here's how to play and a handful of tricks to rack up points.

How do you play?

At the bottom there's a launcher with a bubble of a certain color. Aim with your mouse or finger and shoot toward the cluster of bubbles above. If your bubble sticks to two or more of the same color forming a group of three or more, they all pop and you score points.

Rules and controls

  1. Aim by moving the mouse or dragging your finger. You'll see a line showing the bounce off the walls.
  2. Shoot with a click or a tap. The reserve bubble (next to the launcher) will be the next one up.
  3. Match 3 or more identical bubbles to pop them.
  4. Bubbles left hanging without touching the ceiling fall and earn bonus points.
  5. Every few shots a new row appears at the top. If the bubbles reach the bottom, you lose.

Tricks and strategy

Why it's so addictive

Bubble Shooter blends aim, planning and instant reward: that satisfying "pop" when a big cluster bursts. It's perfect for quick rounds. If you enjoy match-and-pop games, you'll also have fun with Candy Match and Tetris.

🏆 Score ranking

Bubble Shooter has its own global ranking: each mode (levels, endless and challenge) has its own scoreboard. Go to Ranking, the 🕹️ 1 Player tab, choose "Bubble Shooter" from the dropdown, and compare your score with other players, synced to your account. For your result to count you need a free account on MundoSudoku (just a username and password, no email required): you can play without one, but without logging in your score won't be saved to the ranking.
