📖 How to play X-Sums Sudoku

1. The sudoku rules apply: 1 through 9 with no repeats in each row, column, and 3x3 box.
2. The outside clue of a line is the sum of its first N squares, counting from the edge where the clue sits. N is the number in the first square of that line.
3. For example, if the first square is a 3, the clue adds up those first 3 squares.
4. Each puzzle has a unique solution.

💡 Tip: a clue equal to a single digit (like 1) means the first square is a 1 (the sum of the first square = itself). A clue of 45 means the whole row is included, so the first square is a 9.
