π How to play Hitori
- The goal is to black out some squares so that, among the white squares that remain, no number repeats in the same row or column.
- Two blacked-out squares can't touch horizontally or vertically (diagonal touching is fine).
- All the white squares must stay connected to each other, forming a single piece.
- Tap a square to black it out or restore it to white. Each puzzle has a unique solution.
π‘ Tip: if a number appears three times in a row, the middle one usually stays white and the other two get blacked out; and since two blacked-out squares can't touch, that often fixes their neighbors as white.
