🏒 How to play Air Hockey (2 players)

By Miguel Arechaga

MundoSudoku's Air Hockey can be played three ways: against the computer on your own, with two players on the same device, each on their half, or from two different phones connected with a room code. The goal is simple: hit the puck with your mallet and get it into your opponent's goal. The first to score 7 goals wins.

🎚️ Play against the computer (1 player)

If you'd rather play solo, click "👤 1 Player": you control the bottom mallet and the CPU controls the top one. Use the "🎚️ Difficulty" button to pick Easy, Medium, or Hard: on Easy the computer reacts slower and gets caught out of position on defense, while on Hard it attacks and defends with near-perfect reflexes. Click "👥 2 Players" at any time to switch back to two-players-on-one-device mode.

Connecting two phones (create a room)

  1. One player presses "🌐 Online 2 players" and then "Create room": a 4-character code appears.
  2. The other player types that code and presses "Join".
  3. Once you're connected, the match starts. Whoever created the room (the host) plays the bottom goal.
  4. You can also both play on the same device, each on their half, without needing to create a room.
  5. If you'd rather not share a code, use "🔍 Find opponent" to be instantly matched with another available player.
  6. You can also add friends by their username from the 👥 Friends panel and challenge them directly with the "Challenge" button next to their name, without leaving the page.

🏆 Wins ranking

All your online Air Hockey matches are recorded on your account: every win (and every loss) adds to your history. Go to Ranking, the 🎮 2 Players tab, choose "Air Hockey" from the dropdown, and check your position against other players, synced across all your devices.

Your wins against the computer in 1-player mode count too: they update on the 🕹️ 1 Player tab of the Ranking, under "🏒 Air Hockey (1 jugador)" in the dropdown. For either result to count you need a free account on MundoSudoku (just a username and password, no email required): you can play without one, but without signing in your score isn't saved to the ranking.
