In Ratio Sudoku, a dot between two squares means one is an exact multiple of the other; the number in the dot is the ratio (for example, a 3 marks the pair 2 and 6).

📖 How to play Ratio Sudoku

  1. The sudoku rules apply: 1 through 9 with no repeats in each row, column, and 3x3 box.
  2. A dot between two neighboring squares means one is an exact multiple of the other. The number inside the dot is the ratio (the larger number divided by the smaller one).
  3. For example, a dot with a 2 connects squares like 3 and 6 or 4 and 8; a 3 connects 2 and 6 or 3 and 9.
  4. Important: if there's no dot between two neighbors, neither is an exact multiple of the other. Each puzzle has a unique solution.

💡 Tip: high ratios (3 or 4) are very restrictive: a dot with 4 can only connect 1-4 or 2-8. Use these first.
