📖 How to play Breakout

1. Move the paddle so the ball doesn't fall: on a computer with the mouse or the ← → keys; on mobile, drag your finger across the board.
2. Press space or tap the screen to launch the ball while it's waiting on the paddle.
3. The ball bounces off the paddle and destroys bricks on contact. Each brick adds points.
4. If the ball falls past the paddle, you lose a life. The game ends when you lose all 3.
5. Destroying every brick advances you to the next level and the ball speeds up.

💡 Tip: hit the ball with the edges of the paddle to give it sharper angles and dodge tricky gaps.
