🃏 How to play Texas Hold'em Poker online free
By Miguel Arechaga
MundoSudoku's Poker is Texas Hold'em, the most popular variant in the world: each player gets 2 hole cards and up to 5 community cards are dealt on the table; you win by making the best five-card hand or by getting everyone else to fold. It's played online, free and with no real money, and you can choose between two ways to play: tournaments or tables. Here's everything.
Getting started
Open the Poker page and pick one of the two options: "Play a tournament" or "Cash tables (2-9 players)". If you're logged in, your games count towards the ranking; if not, you still play as a guest.
Tournaments
In tournament mode you register with a button and wait for registration to close. When it starts:
- Players are split into tables of up to 6; if there aren't enough people, empty seats are filled with bots so the game can start anyway.
- All tables start at the same time and play independently.
- As players are eliminated, tables are merged until a final table is reached.
- A single player wins the tournament: the one who ends up with all the chips.
Tables (cash game, 2 to 9 players)
If you prefer a more relaxed game, go to "Tables". There you can:
- Browse the list of public tables and join whichever you like.
- Create your own table, public or private with a code to play just with friends, choosing 2 to 9 seats.
- Fill it with bots if you want to start playing right away.
- Come and go whenever you want: a new hand starts automatically after each one, and if you disconnect your seat is held for a while so you can reconnect.
Betting: what you can do on your turn
Dealing, the rotating dealer button and the small blind and big blind are handled automatically. On your turn you'll have these actions:
- Check: stay in without betting, if no one has bet.
- Call: match the current bet.
- Bet / Raise: a slider lets you choose how much, from the minimum (set by the blind) up to your all-in, with quick ½ pot, pot and max buttons.
- Fold: give up the hand.
- All-in: bet all your chips; the system handles side pots automatically.
Every turn has a timer; if it runs out, you check or fold automatically so the game keeps moving.
Ranking and stats
If you play logged in, everything counts towards the ranking. Go to Ranking › 🌐 Online Rooms › 🃏 Poker and you'll see the standings by points, with Global, Week and Month periods. You earn points for every hand played, more for every hand won, and a lot more for winning a tournament. Tap your name to open your profile with your stats: hands played, hands won, win rate, tournaments won and your rating.
Do I need to sign up?
You don't need to in order to play: you can do it as a guest. But if you log in, your results are saved and you appear in the ranking with your name. Remember: it's a 100% free game, no real money or prizes, recommended for ages 18+.
Pick a tournament or a table and go for the pot.
